The journey of SEINO LOGIX – is indeed the history of LCL ocean freight transportation in Japan.

A humble office operated by only 3 staff in a corner of Kita-Shinagawa, Tokyo has now grown to be an established global ocean freight consolidator with more than 100 employees.

The predecessor of SEINO LOGIX, “Seino Votainer Co., Ltd.”, was incorporated in November of 1986 as a joint venture between Van Ommeren (60% share) in Holland and Seino Transportation Co., Ltd. (40% share) in Japan.

Under Van Ommeren’s consolidation division, Votainer had begun operating as the world’s first LCL ocean freight consolidator.

Originating from Bremen, the very first LCL consolidation container was shipped to Chicago, USA in 1970, and its historical B/L has been securely stored at the Maritime Museum in Rotterdam.

Inheriting Votainer’s legacy (DNA) as a neutral LCL ocean freight consolidator, SEINO LOGIX has been Japan’s leading pioneer in the ocean LCL market.

In addition, we believe that our commitment to offer customers innovative and responsive transportation solutions to satisfy their challenging, unique “needs” has been one of the principal elements in the growth of SEINO LOGIX thus far.

Our heart holds “our pride in our predecessor’s legacy (DNA) in neutral LCL ocean freight consolidation business” and “curiosity & ambition”.
