Policy on Handling of Personal Data of Customers of Seino Logix Co., Ltd.
Seino Logix Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as “we,” “us,” or “our,” as the case may be) collects your personal data when you use the services dedicated to the members of the web-based services “LOGIX NET” provided by us (such as WEB BOOKING, CARGO TRACKING and SHIPPING SCHEDULE SEARCH) and other services provided by us (the LOGIX NET services and any other services provided by us shall be hereinafter collectively referred to as “Services”).
Placing importance on your privacy and committed to the protection of your privacy, we establish the privacy policy as follows that provides for the collection of personal data and the method of use thereof. Please read the following policy to understand the type, usage, purpose of collection, disclosure destination and method of handling of the information that we collect.
Personal Data
Your “personal data” that we collect refers to the “personal data” as defined in the Act on the Protection of Personal Information (Act No. 57 of 2003; hereinafter referred to as “Personal Information Protection Act”) and means the information about a living individual that can identify the specific individual by name, date of birth or other descriptions contained in such information or that contains personal identification codes.

Information Necessary for Use of LOGIX NET
We request that you provide your company name, department, title, name, company address, telephone number, email address, facsimile number and the like by filling in the form prescribed by us for use of the LOGIX NET. We also request that you enter your cargo information when you use WEB BOOKING.
If you fail to provide specified information, you may not be able to use all or part of the functions of the LOGIX NET.
About Cookies
The LOGIX NET uses “cookies” that are normally used on many corporate websites in order to improve operability and convenience with your consent. By setting “cookies” on your personal computer, you may register the same information as before, which significantly saves time and effort required for entering information.
You may disable “cookies” if you desire and may withdraw your consent to using cookies at any time; provided, however, that if cookies are disabled, you may not be able to use part of the functions of the LOGIX NET.
Scope of Use and Provision to Third Parties

We may outsource the handling of personal data, such as shipping address, company name and name, for the dispatch of goods. 1. If your personal data registered on the LOGIX NET is incorrect, we request that you correct such information on your own after logging in with your “User ID” and “Password.” If you need to confirm the history of WEB BOOKING, please see the “WEB BOOKING History/Edit Screen.”
We shall not correct your personal data without your consent; provided, however, that we may correct your registered information if such incorrect information clearly causes a problem in light of the purpose for which such personal data is acquired as prescribed in “Purpose of Acquisition of Customer Information” above (such as the name of municipalities and postal code, telephone number, facsimile number and email address).
2. If we are requested by a user to suspend use of or erase personal data (hereinafter referred to as “Suspension of Use, etc.”) for any of the following reasons, we shall conduct necessary investigation without undue delay and shall, based on the results thereof, implement the Suspension of Use, etc., of personal data in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and inform the user to that effect; provided, however, that in the event that the Suspension of Use, etc., of personal data incurs a large monetary cost or is otherwise difficult and if alternative measures necessary to protect the user’s rights and interests are available, we shall take such alternative measures.
(i) When personal data is handled beyond the scope of the purpose of use;
(ii) When personal data has been acquired by wrongful means;
(iii) When personal data is used in a manner likely to promote or induce illegal or improper acts;

We shall use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption for the LOGIX NET member registration and WEB BOOKING to maintain the confidentiality of personal data and transaction details transmitted on the internet (an SSL-enabled browser is required for member registration, WEB BOOKING and other tasks involving registration).
You may specify an arbitrary password at the time of the LOGIX NET member registration in order to protect your security.
We request that you take measures to protect your personal data by periodically changing your password and taking time to devise character use settings for your password in order to use the internet safely.
